Stags Coach Selected for England Touch Training Squad!

Stags Coach Selected for England Touch Training Squad!

George Green9 Dec 2025 - 18:38

Crystal selected for England Touch Training Squad.

We’re thrilled to announce that our Head Touch Coach, Crystal Ravenscroft, has been selected for an England Touch training squad ahead of the European Championships in France this July. Over the next three months she’ll train with the national squad before final selections are made in April, and we couldn’t be prouder of this incredible achievement!

As a result of her commitment to England duties, Crystal will be stepping down as Head Coach for Touch - she will of course be hugely missed as her impact on Club has been immense: her energy, leadership, and dedication have shaped the Touch setup into what it is today. While this isn’t goodbye forever, her presence on the coaching team will be missed and she leaves the Club stronger, more confident, and full of momentum. Crystal is still a member of the Club and hopes to support again in the future.

Looking ahead, plans are already in motion to ensure our Touch offering remains strong. With leadership from our Team Manager Alex and our Touch Captain Wes, coaching from Ben, and support from Dale, we’re excited for the next chapter and confident that the team is in excellent hands.

Crystal will be joining us at on Saturday 13 September at our last Touch friendly game of the season.

Here's some comments from Stags who have worked with Crystal over the last year...

"We are excited and proud of Crystal's achievement. She has brought a wonderful spirit to the Stags and her legacy will be embedded in the team." Dale

"Crystal, you'll be hugely missed, but representing us nationally is next level - so much pride!" Hugh

"Congratulations Crystal, thank you so much for everything!" Tom

"Congratulations Crystal! We'll be sad to see you go, but you'll always be a Stag. Thank you so much for what you've contributed to the Club." Faye, Head Coach
